Fathers day is the day we celebrate our dads. It was invented by a woman named Sonora Smart Dodd who was raised by her father and thought that they should be celebrated just as much as mothers. Her dad was born in June so she chose to hold the first fathers day on June 19th of 1910. It was President Calvin Coolidge who decided to hold fathers day on the third Sunday of June 14 years later.

Daylight Saving Time Begins

DST; is the convention of advancing clocks so that afternoons have more daylight
and mornings have less. Typically clocks are adjusted forward one hour near the
start of spring and are adjusted backward in autumn. Modern DST was first
proposed in 1907 by William Willett. Despite controversy, many countries have
used it since then; details vary by location and change occasionally.
