NEWS: |
|
|
 |
|
On January 26th Middletown Elks Lodge 771
delivered a check for $1,500.00 to St.
Luke’s. St. Luke's has been providing needed community services to
seniors and promoting elderly independence since being founded in 1865
as a home for civil war widows. In 1982 St. Luke’s initiated a program
to provide outreach support services to the home bound elderly living
independently in the community. In 2003, through a grant from the Robert
Wood Johnson Foundation, St. Luke’s developed a volunteer service model
based on communities working together to provide valuable needed support
services to low income elderly.
Pictured are the Officers of Middletown Lodge along with Dianne
Annelli, Director of St. Lukes, Daniel Miramant Exalted Ruler,
Middletown Lodge and Peter Freiler CEA Vice-President - Central
District.
Middletown Elks Lodge 771 is proud to support
the great work that St. Luke's does for the elderly in our community and
look forward to a long relationship with them.
