On December 18, 2003 Winsted Elks presented checks to two local non profit agencies: Foothills Nursing and the Winsted Open Door Soup Kitchen both received checks for $400 from Winsted Elks Lodge #844.  The funds came from members' donations to the Elks National Foundation.
