The New England Regional "Hoop Shoot"
Contest, organized and run by Regional Director Dick Blinn, will
take place Saturday morning, March 29, 2008 at Scarborough High
School on 20 Gorham Road, Scarborough, Maine at 9:15 AM.
The headquarter hotel will be the Wyndham Portland Airport Hotel,
363 Maine Mall Road, South Portland, Maine. A block of rooms has
been reserved for Friday night, March 28, 2008 and Saturday night,
March 29, 2008. The cost of the rooms is $105.93 per night and
reservations should be made through State "Hoop Shoot" Director John
Podbielski, no later than February 26, 2008.
A Saturday morning breakfast at the Portland Elks Lodge #188 is
offered at $6.00 per person and an Awards Dinner will be held
Saturday evening at 5:00 PM at the Wyndham Hotel. Cost for the
dinner is $22.00 per person and reservations for the breakfast and
dinner can also be made through John Podbielski. Rooms are on
a first come basis and meal tickets will not be available if not
paid for before March 3, 2008.
