On November 19th & 20th, 2011 the
Connecticut Elks Association sponsored and assisted,
with the Special Olympics of Connecticut, another great
volleyball competition and awards event. This was held
at the New Haven Sports Complex for the 12th
consecutive year.
One of the many highlights of the event this year
was the award given to Jim Desmarais Sr., PSP for
opening the door to a great relationship in working with
the Special Olympics of Connecticut. The Special
Olympics of Connecticut called the CEA a powerful force
in helping them run the Volleyball competition year
after year. This year the participants were given a red
pin to commemorate the 12th consecutive year
the CEA has been working with them and helping them
compete in their competition.
I would like to thank:
-
Hamden #2224: Phil Wilson & Carl Gorman

food

-

the awards
-

another great CEA event.
