The Connecticut Elks Association, through this committee, will distribute Community Charities Grant Awards to two deserving charities in each District. The first award will be for $1500.00 and the second for $1000.00.  Each Lodge in the district that met the Elks National Foundation goal for the year 2006-2007 is entitled to nominate ONE local charity or community service group for consideration by this committee.

Below you will find the Community Charities Grant application for each district.  In filling out the application, please comply with the guidelines as stated on the application, and thoroughly document the reasons for your choice, as this documentation is the basis for selection by the committee.

I urge you to see that your Lodge participates in this worthy program, for, if your Lodge's nominee is selected for one of these awards, it will not only benefit your community, it will increase public awareness of the charitable works of Our Order and your Lodge.
