Welcome to the Public Relations portion of the Connecticut Elks Association Web
Site. I’m honored to have been appointed The Connecticut Elks Association State
Public Relations Chairman for the fraternal year 2010-2011. I look forward to
working with all the subordinate lodges in their efforts to promote the good
work that our lodges continuously provide to our communities.
I
would like to thank, welcome, and introduce our current District Chairperson’s,
David Greaves PER of the Central District, John Simko PER Coastal District,
Sidney Buttermore PER East District, and James Olmstead, Northwest District. I
encourage all of lodges to contact their District Chairman when promoting an
event, please feel free to send them articles, pictures, and news clippings when
possible.
The
Public Relations Team will be producing four State Association News Letters
during the course of the year. The Public Relations Team encourages all the
lodges to provide their State Chairman and District Chairman with fresh news
that can be added to the State news letter.
Thank You in Advance,
Alex Coriaty PER
State Chairman |

Making a Difference Through Publicity |
|
| Remember that all the time, effort
and money that you and your Lodge contributes every year plays
an important role in your community. Don't shortchange
yourselves by not spreading the information and letting your
community know! You have to make your own good press
whereas bad press is always lurking in the dark. "Let
the Darkness Out" |
