Members All,
In compliance
with the Constitution and Statues of the Connecticut Elks
Association, President Gaetano Patrizzi has announced that the
2007 – 2008 State Association Mid-year Convention will be held
on Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Windsor Lodge No. 2060.
Exalted Ruler Michael Zagaja, the Lodge Officers and members of
Windsor Lodge wish to make your visit an enjoyable one.
Registration will
be open from 8:30 a.m. to Noon. Beginning at 9:00 a.m.,
there will be an Elks Training session conducted by the 4
District Deputies assisted by State Chairman Walter Birdsell.
At approximately 9:30 a.m. State Elks National Foundation
Chairman James Money will be hosting a clinic on the different
grant programs. At 10:30 a.m. there will be a Government
Relations seminar dealing with critical information that is
pertinent to Lodge operations including State Laws.
A buffet lunch
will be available at the Lodge from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. for
$8.00.
The business
session will start promptly at 1:00 p.m. The order of
business will follow the agenda listed in the 2006 Constitution
and Statues.
Any State Chairman, who wishes to
set up a display booth, should contact the Vice-President who
oversees your committee for arrangements.
All Association
Officers and State Chairmen should forward a copy of your mid
-year Association report to me if you are not able to attend. If
you could email a copy in a word document file it would be most
appreciated, (Sec1589@aol.com).
Please find attached the delegate form to be filled out and
mailed ahead of time.
